A New Beginning

Dear Friends of JLV, 

 

Our dad, founder of Junius Lindsay Vineyard, loved many things. A good strong hot cup of coffee, the south of France, and Carolina basketball. 

 

But for the last 20 years, dad’s singular passion was producing wine. 

 

On any given morning you could find him out among the vines, mowing, spraying, pruning unruly shoots into a more orderly existence.

 

And on any given evening you could find him watching the sunset at JLV, glass in hand, savoring the fruits of his labor. 

 

From that first acre of Viognier to his last glass in August, his driving vision was to take this land farmed by our great grandfather and coax it into something new.

 

All transitions take time. But, as the seasons change, both literally and figuratively, we invite you to join us, and the fabulous staff at JLV, as we honor the past and raise a glass to what lies ahead. 

 

Dad always called us his twins. We are now proud to add a new title: Co-Proprietors, Junius Lindsay Vineyard.
